Cool Text - Animals 352996818830559.png

There are a lot of different animals/animal types featured in the Blood Moon Series. You always hear about the Werewolves or Vampires turning into wolves and bats, you might even get lucky and here about a Werecat here and there, but here in the Shadow world, there is so much more than what people realize.

It isn't just wolves that prowl the world hidden in human skin - They're only the most known about because they are the most violent, the most 'accident prone'. Werewolves have an innate brutish intensity to them, a need to pit their strength against another, to dominate. Males especially.

In the Blood Moon Series, you'll get to see not only the wolves in action, but others as well, not just the Were-Animals, the Shifters and Vampires as well. The world doesn't have just one natural animal predator, so why should the supernatural one?

Gray Wolf / Timber Wolf

Gray Wolves 3.jpg

The largest of the modern day natural wolves, they range over North America and Eurasia

The most seemingly versatile species, they can be found as Weres, Shifters, and Vampire forms

Ocelot

Found in Southwestern US, Mexico, Central and South America - This feline is often confused with a jaguar due to its markings

There's only one ocelot known in the area where the story is taking place, it's an uncommon breed to see in Nrn. Illinois for sure, which is why many don't recognize what she is even after seeing her
